This short essay wants to share a few ideas about love and courage with those people who have had the luck to be on stage at least once in their lives. As a very special experience, being on stage can be both a happy as well as a traumatic experience. In the following pages, I have tried to share with you some experiences and some ideas which can help to overwrite your story. It is true that we cannot replace something in our memory, yet we can overwrite it and create a new beautiful chain of thoughts. Many times, we have been surrounded by people who did not believe in us and we forgot that the first one who needed to believe in us was just us.
In these pages there is no formula to follow, but you will find a way to think how to trust yourselves and enjoy the moment in which you experience the stage. Above all, I will try to remind you that you are the luckiest people on earth as you have had the chance, at least once, to express to the outer world your emotions and to be listened by an audience who gave you the best gift ever in order to let you express yourself: they gave you their time.
This essay comes from thirty years of experience on stage, both as guitar player and conductor, after more than twenty years as guitar teacher in music schools, guitar lecturer in Music Academies and after many masterclasses given all around Europe.
